I was born with my eyes open

And I still often forget to blink. My first drawing was a cat with 7 legs at age 2. I started journalling my dreams at 11, and won people’s choice at my first art show by painting them. I studied design and started teaching it by my second year. I began a career in animation at 21. I hosted my first life drawing event at 24 - and continue to meet friends, mentors & creators through this avenue. I began a job in science communication at 27 by referencing science fiction films in a pitch. I worked in a startup for 6 years, building a design and animation agency. Now 32, I freelance as a senior 2D artist, and continue to maintain a fine art practice.

I have spatial-sequence synaesthesia, which means at all times, I see memories arranged around me. They stack into place when I’m talking to a canvas. I document people and places to discover their ever magnifying nuances. I created this website to honour the elasticity of my creative spirit; to watch it stretch. And to share it.
